Family
Family, to me, is simply the people you love. It doesn’t have to look one particular way. Everyone’s version of family is welcome here. I especially love encouraging mothers to step into the frame with their kids, even if their partner isn’t interested in photos. These sessions never have to include everyone you are absolutely allowed to book something just for you and your children.
My family sessions are $950 plus GST, with travel costs added only if I need to go further outside my usual areas. The price is completely upfront, with no surprise costs at the end. You receive unlimited images, and you are never asked to choose a limited number of photos or pay extra to unlock the rest of your gallery. You also don’t have to print through me unless you would like to. I’m very passionate about families having access to all of their images without feeling like they are being upcharged for their memories.
I love getting to know families in places that feel natural to them. That could be your home, your favourite coffee shop, a museum, wandering through the city, or somewhere meaningful to your family story. We can also meet in a neutral location like the beach or the forest. Beach sessions are typically held at sunset, while most other sessions are best during the day, and I strongly encourage weekday bookings when possible. I do have very limited weekend availability for family sessions, so if weekends are the only option for you, I recommend booking up to six months in advance. But please never feel like you can’t reach out you’re always welcome to contact me and see if I have an opening.
Couples
Couples photography with me is all about creating something that feels relaxed, fun, and true to you. These sessions are $950 plus GST, with travel costs added only if the location is further outside my usual areas. Together we can choose a setting that feels most like you as a couple whether that’s a dramatic clifftop, a quiet beach, wandering through the city, or an intimate, softly lit space tucked away somewhere special. I love to incorporate lots of movement into my sessions, and you never need to worry about knowing how to pose. I guide you through the entire process so nothing feels forced or awkward. For many couples, it’s their first time being professionally photographed together, and while that can feel a little intimidating at first, I like to think of these sessions more like a date where someone just happens to be there capturing it. I always encourage couples to do photos at least once a year, so that over time you have a beautiful collection of memories from all the different stages of your life together.
